On second thought it was probably difficult even for adults to comprehend the strength required to do this act. Let one imagine oneself hanging from two rings with two hands while attempting to pivot the body up and around the shoulders. This would be a very difficult feat. Then picture doing this hanging from one arm. This would require stupendous strength. Then imagine doing it for 100 revolutions! This is almost beyond the imagination. You might have noticed that during the part of the video where she does the swingovers the audience is pretty quiet. The reason for this may be that they cannot comprehend or believe what they are seeing. This clip should be mandatory viewing for those who still believe that females cannot develop upper body strength.

Adults also appreciated Vicky's act, probably even more than children did, since adults could better understand the effort required to perform this astounding feat of strength and endurance.

Avatar may have potential. James Cameron has a track record with strong female characters, and he put Michelle in the movie (a good first step). We'll see, though.

Yes, she's great. I was bummed she was on so short a time on LOST, a show which has some great buff women who can kick but but who sadly are a bit on the emotionally typical side, they needed her toughness. But from what I've read she wanted to only do a short stint, not get tied to a series. I'm interested in the upcoming Avatar movie she'll be in, but worried that it will just be overwhelmingly computer generated. Hopefully it won't overshadow her or the other stars.

Indeed, she's got it and I really shouldn't have left her out of the "younger partner" line-up. After all, I want a female partnership and both to be buff, as there always has to be some partnership. None of that male-female or tough female/girly-girl thing. I'm hoping to see Biel show her stuff for a long time to come. Of course, by the time the world is ready for a show featuring a tough woman in her late 30s or even 40s, Biel might be old enough...and hopefully still going strong!

I understand. No, Biel wouldn't be an option if the script calls for a 40+ heroine. But Biel starring in her own action series is an appealing idea.

Yes, I should have included Biel as the potential partner, as I think she's great...just a tad too young for my main character. Even Mitras is a little on the young side. At 46, I don't want my role models to be young enough to be my daughter...even if I have to deal with the fact it is pushing it for them to be even older than I am.

I'm not sure, Amy. You would probably have to get in touch with someone at Joel Silver's company or Warner Bros. But they may not be ready for real auditions yet, since the movie is still in development.
