Where I live we occasionally get winter thunderstorms, soft falling snow with thunder and lightning as a backdrop. I imagine first seeing Tina Lockwood produces feelings similar to those felt during a winter thunderstorm, for both experiences are at once beautiful and awe-inspiring.
A teenaged Tina Lockwood stunned the bodybuilding world of the early 1990s with her massive frame and tremendous power. But after a few years, tired I guess of all the attention (or perhaps the nature of it), she retired from the sport and, as far as one can tell, vanished altogether. Still, during her short career Tina disabused all who saw her of the notion that women are forever the "weaker" sex.

Best of '09: an idiosyncratic digest of bloggings
My little contribution to a "Best of '09" series by Women Talk Sports bloggers is a selection of favorites from this blog. I don't expect you'll find a particular mood or theme, less so a standard of quality, but rather, I hope, a few morsels that provoke

Great analogy there Rob, of the snow and lightning. To which I add The Northern Lights, producing in her an aurora that is unique. I'd bet a hand-grasp by her of an opponent in an arm wrestling match would be enough for some men to cry UNCLE even before they were put down, ...or lifted up as in The "How to make a man feel helpless in your arms" by "Diana the Valkyrie", hopefully to see that "How to bend a horseshoe" on MYTHBUSTERS.
I dated tina for awhile in the mid 1990s. She was one of the sweetest, kindest women u could ever meet. She did not disapear, she moved to phila and lived a simple quiet life working at a local gym and bouncing in the eves at a club called "deco"... what a wonderful woman... I lost touch with her in the late 90s.
Any hope of getting in touch with Tina
or her re-surfacing?
Dear All, how to get in touch with TINA ????????????????
SHE IS A LEGEND !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pretty incredible muscles, without a doubt. And sometimes the bodybuilders (male and female) look a little freaky, but Tina actually looks quite beautiful, I think.
The coolest part is the comment that she's worked as a bouncer. Somehow I just enjoy how different that is from business as usual!
There isn't much about Tina Lockwood that is business-as-usual--thankfully.
I read she was a competitive athlete in school and did very well in sprint freestyle swimming.
If she's raising a family this lifestyle may not offer what she is looking for right now.
Maybe she'll come back when she's older and a little bored. It would be fun to see those old bones again.
hola tina me llamo jesus soy de lima peru te mando muchos saludos admiro mucho tu figura que has conseguido mantente asi si puedes enviame una respuedsta muchas gracias mi correo es jessass4ever -at- hotmail.com
She is too damn hot! Man, it's like that video she did for Lori Victoria Braun's muscle celebration show. The song was "That's Some Bitch". Can't say it any better.
I wonder how these female body builders feel once the PED's start drastically changed their jawline, hair growth and all the rest. Cant be easy living as a woman with higher testosterone then the average male.
I don't know? Maybe you should ask male bodybuilders who use steroids how it feels when their testicles shrink away?
But as for Tina Lockwood, she had roughly this much muscle when still a teenager - it's unlikely that steroids account for that.
"Rob Mars".. feminists like you sicken me. If you're not Tina herself.. then what on earth is wrong with you?
Are you actually trying to say that Tinas muscle mass ISN'T a direct result of steroid use?! Are you crazy?
Her 18inch or so arms, wouldn't have been an inch over 11.5 at that bodyfat % if it weren't for steroids! Also, even IF she had "roughly this much muscle when still a teenager", what makes you think she wasn't juicing (and using A LOT!) for YEARS?! Most popular bodybuilders start using roids at FIFTEEN y.o.a.!
Yes, she was bigger than a lot of steroid using males.. but that just means she was using MORE DRUGS than they were!
Women ARE and will ALWAYS be the WEAKER SEX. Men have TESTEES, females do NOT. We (though not you) produce 10-15x more testosterone than natural women on average.
Yes, that is what I'm saying. And no, I'm not crazy.
Here's your argument in a nutshell: any woman with large muscles must be using steroids, lots of 'em too. The problem for you is that there are natural bodybuilding contests which have--*gasp*--female competitors with large muscles.
This goes also not just for bodybuilders but for female athletes generally. People like yourself swore, for example, that Dara Torres just had to be using steroids. Except test after test after test has shown that not to be the case.
And do you have some proof, some sliver of evidence, that Tina Lockwood was "juicing" at 15? I won't be holding my breath while I wait for you to produce it.
Finally, I do not doubt, am not surprised in the least, that in your simple little world-view biology is fixed and things are as they are and have ever been and will always be.
The first time I saw Tina was 1995 and she was/is incredible -- loved her ---- some people like meat and some like fish I like hulky babes --- so if you don't like muscle gals -- Why are you looking at them!!! Good Question Hmmm
I am in the audio video bus. I have helped many in many competition routines
